Add Ons - MS CSP Legacy
Add Ons under Microsoft CSP Legacy
Add Ons enable resellers to purchase additional services as part of a previously purchased product. Under Legacy & NCE it is important to remember the following concepts when referring to add ons:
- Base Product - refers to product/SKU that is provisioned as a subscription against a tenant.
- Add On Product - refers to the product/SKU that is added onto the base product subscription.
- Prerequisite Products - refers to a base product family/group that is required to be active prior to an add on product being able to be successfully provisioned.
Please note that Legacy Add Ons can only be added to Legacy Subscriptions which are still active. This can happen until your Legacy Subscription is forced to move to Microsoft's New Commerce Experience (NCE). How to Provision Add Ons
- Within PRISM, navigate to the Microsoft CSP program tile.
- Navigate to the Manage Existing Tenants tile
- Select the tenant you have previously created with the base product that you would like to provision against from the tenant list by selecting Manage.
- Select Manage against the existing active subscription that you would like to attach Add On to
- Under the Manage Subscription page, you will be presented with a list of available CSP Add-Ons
- Select Add against the Add On you require from the list
- A slide-out window will appear on the left-hand side of the screen named Add Microsoft CSP Add-On
- Use the "+" and or "-" symbols to increase or decrease the add on quantity to your required license count.
- Confirm order details are correct and select Add this Add On
- In the top right-hand corner, you will be presented with several notifications as the subscription provisions in Microsoft’s Partner Centre.
- Once the order has been completed, the add on will be visible under the Manage Tenant page once you expand upon the subscription
